// About the Project
This research is an ethnographic study examining how creative communities in Iceland navigate belonging and cultural identity through collaborative artistic practices. Based on eleven months of fieldwork in Reykjavík, it focuses on migration, language, and the intersection of art and social change. The project was supported by funding from the Australian Government in the form of a research scholarship, the School of Archaeology and Anthropology fieldwork funds, and the Hansen Scandinavian Friendship Research Grant.
